God's Plan Will Go On
When it comes to God's work and His plan, no man is indispensable. God’s work goes on uninterrupted. The
instruments are changed, but the Master-hand is the same, and lays one
tool aside and takes another out of the tool-chest as He will. In the next several books from Deuteronomy to 1 Samuel this month (October) you will see how the hand of God moves from one leader to the next, but His Holy plan continue.

Joshua 23:3. And you have seen all that the Lord your God has done to all these nations because of you--The modesty and humility of Joshua are remarkably displayed at the beginning of his address to Israel. Dismissing all thoughts of his personal services, he ascribed the conquest and occupation of Canaan entirely to the favoring presence and aid of God; and in doing so, he spoke truly. God wants us to give Him the Glory for our success.
